In fact, Amara is no longer open source, as announced by Dean Jansen in Why We are Closing Amara’s Source Code (Amara's blog, January 13, 2020)

https://github.com/pculture/unisubs is no longer there. I do not spot any "development" or "source" related on https://amara.org/en/volunteer/ . So, is amara still open source or gone dark?

At the bottom of the "Volunteer" page is the link to participate in helping develop and test Amara. It will lead you to this page where you can view the source code but also jump in and help out.
