There is no need to delete the alternate subtitle. You don't have to complete it either. We have a Portuguese and Portuguese, Brazilian as different in case people would like the localized version and both can exist on the same video with no problems. Since you already spent time working on it, someone might want to complete it sometime in the future, and the work you already did will be great help to them. Please confirm if you would want it deleted.

can you please delete the 40%'s pt_bt subtitle?
I started translating and when I saved and exit it already had a 100% subtitle.
