Maybe it makes sense to have a thread for deletion requests - whether concerning video pages or subtitle subpages.

Anyway, the video page I'd like to be deleted is http://www.universalsubtitles.org/en/videos/UhnTbboDakdw/info/ which I created yesterday from http://subtitling-for-accessibility-education-and-creativity.wikispaces.com/file/view/ICT_training_2012_01.mp3/360163505/ICT_training_2012_01.mp3  .

Request motivation: the page does not work, i.e. the widget has been saying "uploading" for over a day now. So no one has made subs for it, and in the meantime I've made http://www.universalsubtitles.org/en/videos/2dkOOQ8ocqDN/info/unesco-teacher-educators-reflect-on-ict-integration-vdo-enhanced-audio/  from a YT video that uses the same audio, and which works.

Thanks for reporting this bug! It seems .mp3 uploads are not working correctly. I am reporting this issue and keeping the sample you created so our developers can take a look and see why this happened, then it shall be removed.

Thanks, Jules. Could you please also delete all subs for http://www.universalsubtitles.org/en/videos/xHZzawTR9MLF/info/long-blank-video-14639? And by "all" I mean both those that show and those that don't show, but whose track can't be used because I uploaded subs for them even if they don't appear, like Latin and American Sign Language?

I'm the sole contributor so far to this page, and to its visible and invisible subs.

I added this to the ticket for the MP3 not loading, thanks for the update. Sadly, we don't have any updates on this issue, our developers have been very busy!

 Any news about the status of the ticket for the MP3 not loading? It's been 4 months now, at least. Or have developpers decided to scrap the possibility to subtitle audio files?

It would be a pity: this possibility was one of the main advantages of Amara over other subtitling platforms.

It's now been 14 months since I made this post, and there are now several github tickets about MP3 files not working anymore with Amara:

• MP3 upload is not working #587
  
• Layout, timing issue with MP3 audio (production)  #267 and several tickets with same title
  

Yet Amara pages created from MP3 files aren't working yet. Could Amara staff really look into this, please?
