But they won't show up on the video page. If I choose "Add a new translation" Swedish is in the list ("Swedish 100%") but it's greyed out and can't be selected.
Why won't the subtitles show? I've added subtitles to other Khan Academy videos in the past week and they worked without a problem.
Please help! My little sister needs these subtitles in order to understand the video and learn about circles.
I created a ticket from your post, which should appear in your own tickets. Meanwhile, for your sister, there are 2 workarounds via the page of the Swedish subtitles, where your subtitles do show in the player:
Zoom the page in your browser until the player is big enough for your sister to be able to read the video texts (sloppy but fast)
Download your subtitles. Create a page on http://subtitle-horse.com using the original http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyLRpr2P0MQ URL, then upload your Amara-made subtitles to the page: the subtitle horse player where they'll show can even be watched full-screen . And you can save video and subs to the server for 4 days, or repeat the operation after 4 days. (longer, but better)

As Margarita Shamraeva wrote in the ticket, the issue was probably due to a time lag in processing the new Swedish subtitles: they now also work in the player of the main page.

I added Swedish subtitles to a Khan Academy video yesterday: http://www.amara.org/sv/videos/5NgQyBDjxyqR/info/circles-radius-diameter-and-circumference/
