Self-Hosting Websites

What self-hosting websites provide you links that will work with Amara?  I would like to be able to upload my video there and get a link.

Thank you for this question, Dawn.

If you have your own real website, you can upload the video there, then use the video's link with Amara. It also works with a wiki or a blog, and you can create a blog for free on several platforms - blogger.com, wordpress.com - though they usually have a limit for files you can upload, both for individual files and for all files.

So if your file is large and you don't already have your own website, your best bet is probably to upload your video on a video hosting platform like vimeo or YouTube, which both work with Amara. Or on archive.org (Internet Archive), where you can host all kinds of files.
