Thank you for asking this, as other users might have the same issue. There is no way to watch a video with subtitles in full screen with the Amara player. However, there are workarounds:
You can zoom with your browser until the player occupies the whole screen (or slightly less): easy but not quite satisfactory.
Better but slightly more complicated: you can play the video with your subtitles in full screen in Subtitle-Horse: - download the subtitles you made on Amara as an .srt file - in http://subtitle-horse.com/, create a subtitling page by inserting the video or YouTube URL in the box for that and clicking Submit (but don't tick open tool fullscreen yet) - in the subtitling page, click File, then Import - in the importing page, click Browse bottom left to select your downloaded subtites, then click Import. - you'll be taken back to the subtitling interface: there, click the fullscreen button with a black rectangle below the player.
Note: you can save the video with the subtitles on the Subtitle-Horse server: File > Save > Save as SRT, then copy or bookmark the URL that appears. But you can only save it for 4 days. So remember to reopen that URL and resave if you need it for longer.
