Issue with updating existing translation by uploading srt

I began a new translation on the site but chose to complete it locally instead. I created an SRT file, but I'm unable to update my own translation on the site with it. Can I delete a translation that I started if I’m the only contributor? If not, what’s the best way to refresh an existing translation with my upload?

I decided to finish my fresh translation locally after starting it on the website. Even though I made an SRT file, I can't use it to update my own translation on the website too, who can answer?

Hi SamuelHull,

Normally you should be able to upload your SRT file from the editing interface -> Subtitle Tools menu -> Upload subtitles.

The uploaded subtitles will replace the subtitles you made on the website. So if you only finished your subtitles locally, from the point you had reached on the website, you should

  • first download the subtitles made on the website as an SRT file,
  • add them to locally-made SRT file
  • upload the new composite SRT file as above.

Best,
